The Director Principal of SION is the Head of Nursing Institution. The other members of the faculty have been allocated additional administrative and teaching responsibilities like training, admissions, examinations etc as per the need of the institution.

Clinical Facility
The institute of nursing shall have a 120-150 bedded Hospital of its own for 50 annual intake in its B.Sc (Nursing) programme to be developed in 2 years period of time. In order to accommodate the students at the outset attachment has been obtained from Government Rajindra Hospital, Patiala and Gian Sagar Hospital, Banur.
The proposed hospital at the SION will have the following facilities:
